Events

Throughout the summer season we organise a number of competitions and events for members. These range from static displays of models to steering competitions, scale competitions and a Venetian Evening where we sail the models at night lit up with scale lighting.

Our main event of the summer is ‘Mannanan’ which is a 2 day model boating festival held at Silverdale towards the end of June. Mannanan features a number of competitions, static display and free sailing opportunities throughout the weekend. We regularly have some of our members and visitors from the UK attend this event.

Our regular club meeting is on Sunday mornings at Silverdale starting at 09:30. This continues throughout the year (depending on weather conditions). feel free to come along and join us for a sail and a chat.
